A half page flyer is provided which outlines the mission and efforts of the PPC. There are cut marks already embedded on the first page. You can either cut them yourself or if you have a large stack, we recommend taking them to Kinkos. They have a professional cutting machine and can cleanly cut up to 250 at a time. The cost is approximately $1.50 per cut. The file is provided in PDF format. Acrobat Reader is required.

Statement of Beliefs

We seek the following goals for a more just society, and we believe the Democratic Party should recommit to these goals:

Mission Statement: The Progressive/Populist Caucus stands for reclaiming the Texas Democratic Party's historic purpose of achieving a more just society by returning our Party and our government to the people first.

I. In order to re-invigorate the Democratic grassroots, we will work toward:

Training at all levels of the Texas Democratic Party, from the precinct level to the County Chair, to SDEC and DNC members
Improvement of internal and external data management
Building a self-sustaining Texas Democratic Party
Identification of areas that the Texas Democratic Party should target for additional resources

II. We will recruit and elect progressive candidates to the SDEC and all other Party positions. We will support our members on party committees.
