David Van Os Campaign Houston Whistlestop
Former President Truman's 21,000-mile whistlestop campaign began on September 17, 1948, when the Ferdinand Magellan, Truman's personal train car, stood waiting at the end of the seventeen-car special train at DC's Union Station. For 33 days, the Magellan crossed the country, with a man determined to reach the people.
In the same spirit of outreach and determination, but minus the actual train, David Van Os has been meeting with people all across Texas, personally, in every location from convention centers to classrooms to town hall meetings, to listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and explain how Texans can take back the government that's supposed to serve them.
Help David lay the tracks to the next Whistlestop and on to the Capitol in 2006. Let's take back Texas together!
Come meet and hear our next Attorney General, David Van Os.
