The Harris County municipal elections are held on November 8th, 2005! Please check the Harris County Clerk's website for more detailed information. The most important information is listed below. Review the candidates for the City of Houston General Ballot 2005. You may also review the 2005 Campaign finance reports for these candidates.

- If you do not vote early, if you vote on November 8th, you are required to vote at your designated polling locaction. This information is not yet available - please check back for details.

Important Dates
- September 9, 2005: First Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail
- October 11, 2005: Last Day to Register to Vote (October 9th is 30th day, but deadline moves to next business day, Tuesday, due to Columbus Day holiday)
- October 24, 2005: First Day of Early Voting. Download / review early voting locations.
- November 1, 2005: Last Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail (application must be received by November 1, not postmarked November 1)
- November 4, 2005: Last Day of Early Voting
- November 8, 2005: Election Day
