We'll have our final business meeting prior to the state convention next Monday, May 12beginning at 6:30 p.m. and concluding promptly at 8 p.m. at the Heights branch of the Houston Public Library.


Discussion items include the PPC steering committee's conversation regarding the Campaign for Change, the candidates reviewed for state party offices, the recruitment and selection of floor leaders in each Senate District (the SDs in the Houston/SE Texas region include 3, 4, 6, 7, 11, 13, 15 and 17).  We'll also bring members up to date on the efforts of the Communications committee for the C for C, the alarming report from last week's SDEC that phoo ID may be required to secure credentials and the responses to that under consideration, and any other membership recruitment, caucus program, and other convention planning underway (or that members may want to bring up).
