We'll gather once again at the Heights branch of the Houston Public Library, 1302 Heights Blvd., 77008. Invited speakers to our pre-primary election meeting include Diane Trautman (tax assessor/collector), David Mincberg (county judge), CO Bradford (district attorney), Loren Jackson (district clerk) and Harold Landreneau (Pct.1 JP candidate).  We'll also get an update on the counter-voter suppression task force's efforts.


Activist events this weekend include the Texas Freedom Network's training on Saturday, February 2; Precinct convention training conducted by SD-17 leaders Bert Anson and Carol Wheeler also on 2/2, and Super Tuesday (2/5) Watch Parties sponsored by BAND and SD-11 (in Clear Lake) and the Michael Skelly campaign at Cafe Adobe.  If you need more information on any of these, contact me back.
