Sign up for a fun five day (including weekend and MLK holiday) Bus Trip to and around Iowa! What we'll be doing: We are going to be doing whatever it takes to roust out voters to attend the caucus: some phoning, some blockwalking, lots of WALKING. You might be standing on a street corner waving a sign, or leafleting at a church, or knocking on doors of voters. Click the 'read more' link below for more info.

At 8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, Governor Dean became the first Democratic Presidential candidate to qualify for the ballot in Texas.  Fourteen-year-old David Broockman, an Austin, Texas volunteer, filed 12,000+ signatures and the appropriate forms and fees to make Governor Dean's candidacy official.  The race is on!

Gov. Dean is coming to Houston in November. We are planning a series of activities and events designed to produce a turnout of 10,000. For that, we need all the help we can get! Please join us for the first organizing meeting at Schlotzsky's, 2929 Kirby.

We will meet up at 7pm, October 23rd, on the Lawn inbetween MD Anderson Library and PGH (Hoffman Hall), where the tall geometric statue is. This will be an oppurtunity for Univ. of Houston students, faculty, and friends to learn more about Howard Dean's issues, other Dean for Texas meetups, the Visit in November, the precinct flyer passouts on Election day, and how to get involved. I would love for other Houston area Dean supporters to join me in this effort. I will try to have a large collection of flyers and stickers by this point.

They're HERE! 350 Texans will land in Iowa today and a whole bunch of them are here in the Des Moines office right now. Their age ranges from 15 to 84 and young and old alike want George Bush out of the White House.
