The first meeting of this campaign's steering committee was on March 12, 2005 in my wife Rachel's and my living room. Twenty long months have passed. During that time Rachel and I have met personally with thousands of our fellow Texans who once were strangers and now are friends. During that time a remarkable statewide network of grassroots volunteers and supporters has carried the message of snarko!http://www.blogger.com/profile/09317635799641286718noreply@blogger.com1

PRESS RELEASE "Whether it's using mothers and children as statistics while ignoring them as individuals; building an expensive film department to glorify himself on the taxpayers' dollar; using the Ten Commandments to idolize himself; or using state property for his campaign commercials, Greg Abbott's term as attorney general of Texas has been all about Greg Abbott, not about the people." snarko!http://www.blogger.com/profile/09317635799641286718noreply@blogger.com2

Hey Greg, WRONG is WRONG, LYING is LYING, and STEALING is STEALING. The "good guy" image of himself that Greg Abbott is spending millions of dollars to promote is phonier than a three-dollar bill. Beneath the glossy campaign ads, he's a thief and a hypocrite, and his claim to be such a nice guy is a pack of lies. Abbott has been caught red-handed using film produced by state employees on snarko!http://www.blogger.com/profile/09317635799641286718noreply@blogger.com1

While I support stiff penalties for sex predators, I am opposed to punishing a crime that did not result in a death with the death penalty. This makes me the exact opposite of Greg Abbott, who favors the death penalty for 'sex predators' even where the offense did not result in a death. Applying the death penalty to a crime that did not result in death is disproportionate to the crime and thus snarko!http://www.blogger.com/profile/09317635799641286718noreply@blogger.com14

The Bush administration prosecuted less than ten (10) employers nationwide last year for violating laws in the employment of undocumented immigrants. As a loyal Bush Republican, Greg Abbott does absolutely nothing about corporate employers who violate these laws. Employers who pay substandard wages to attract undocumented immigrant workers harm everybody. A good friend of mine lamented, "Even a politician with the very best intentions has to compromise integrity to the almighty dollar." This is what the elitists of the Consultant & Donor Party WANT us to think. It is NOT necessary to compromise integrity for the almighty dollar. I reject that premise. Let us together reject the premise that the exercise of self-government has to entail snarko!http://www.blogger.com/profile/09317635799641286718noreply@blogger.com9

[also published on Texas Blue, in response to On Running Races and Pointing Fingers] Mr. Nassar, You are so obsessed with trashing me it seems you are not capable of hearing anything that is contrary to your formula. Throughout Greg Abbott's term as Texas Attorney General I've been appalled at his rank exploitation of children and human tragedies.
